NO PAIN NO GAIN

Winning an Olympic medal is impressive in any circumstances, but Slovenian Cross-Country skier Petra Majdič's achievements were simply extraordinary at Vancouver 2010. She showed incredible bravery to finish third in the Individual Sprint, despite breaking four ribs in a training run and piercing her lung during the semi-final.
